Ka'Ena Point Nature Walk

  • Friday, January 19, 2018
  • 8:15 AM - 1:00 PM
  • 2135 Makiki Heights Dr. Honolulu, HI 96822

Please be sure and go to our FB page to rsvp!

This 5 mile trip nature walk is flat and is more of a walk than a hike with incredible ocean and mountain views the entire way. We will break into groups based on pace so that no one is left behind but those who like to move faster are able to. Bring your binoculars! Along the way we will hopefully see humpback whales. Once we get to the Western most tip of the Island, we will see nesting, and probably baby, Albatross along with Hawaiian Monk Seals. There is no shade along the trail so be sure and wear hats and sunscreen, and bring plenty of watery. Bring a light picnic lunch which we will eat at the point.

We will meet at Bloch Arena at 8:15a.m. for an 8:30 departure. If you want to meet there, meet at the last restroom before Farrington Hwy ends at 9:30.
